Quebec

We were up early this morning as we had a long trip, 497 miles and a Border crossing to negotiate.
Our trip had us travelling throught the states of Massachusetts New Hampshire and Vermont then into the Canadian province of Quebec.

The scenery was pleasant as we worked our way through the New England highlands, and the Appalachian Mountains which roughly follow the border  between The Berkshires in Massachusetts and the Green Mountains in Vermont. The tree leaves we're turning different colours which made it   very picturesque. It was a long day in the bus but we definitely knew we were in a different country when we went shopping as Quebec is the French speaking province of Canada. Jenny did very well ordering tea in her pigeon French.

Tomorrow up early to go for  a walk at 9 am around the walled city of old Quebec Jenny cannot wait as the temperature is about 11 degrees Celsius .
