We have missed deadlines on a couple of attractions, but we have had enough time to double back the next day and revisit early the next day. Most of the big attractions have tight security so it takes a while to gain entry. We have ticked of the majority of the ones we wanted to see, Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty 9/11 Memorial as well as visiting the main sections of the city.
We have some great meals and we found out on the third day to only visit eateries that display the council approved A rating!! No damage done they were all good. The shopping has been good for Jenny though no groceries as they do not have supermarkets in New York but we have amused ourselves in the other stores.
We have not seen any shows on this occasion but Jamie has been to BB King's Blues club to see a couple of bands on Friday night.
Our motel has been brilliant three streets away from the theatre district with full amenities ( nice to get the laundry done ) and our room is on the thirtieth floor with views of the Empire State Building and the Hudson River.
We start our tour tomorrow which will be great but we both will be looking forward to coming back, our next Motel is around 75th Ave so we can check out some other parts of the city.
